In January 1989, the Dreyfous Reading Room at the N.O. Notarial Archives was named for notaries Abel, Felix Jonathan, and George Dreyfous. Due to space reorganization, the Dreyfous Reading Room was relocated to the Notarial Archives Division Research Center in early 2004. On permanent exhibit are portraits of these prominent 19th and 20th century notaries and their notarial commissions.
Notarial records of Abel (acts 1842-1892) and Felix J. (acts 1881-1946) Dreyfous are housed at the Notarial Archives Research Center. The records of George Dreyfous (acts 1921-1954) are housed at the Notarial Archives Division.
